Built from the operator’s side of the table.

Mako is led by Robert Brown, former COO of Beer52. It combines hands-on operating experience with a focused, commercially disciplined approach to procurement.

Know what a supplier decision has to deliver.

Robert spent around seven years at Beer52, including as Chief Operating Officer. He worked across operations, fulfilment, supplier management and procurement. His work across procurement and supplier negotiations delivered annual savings of up to £750,000.

Mako applies that experience to UK consumer businesses, starting with print and packaging. We scrutinise the spend, understand the manufacturing choices and negotiate with a clear view of how the result will be implemented.

There is no standard tender for every situation. The strategy depends on the category, the supplier market and the buying position of the business.

The Beer52 result describes past work. It is not a forecast or guarantee for a Mako client.

Let’s examine the next decision.
